Fanny grew up and was educated near Montréal, Canada. After working in a dairy practice in Québec for a few months she went on her OE and worked for a mixed practice in Kaitaia for a year. After a short stint back in Canada, she returned to New Zealand and joined the Reporoa team as a production animal vet in 2004. She has special interests in dairy cattle medicine, mastitis and reproduction. Fanny is a qualified in milk quality and mastitis advisor under the SmartSAMM banner and is accredited to do mastitis investigations under the Fonterra Demerit Relief scheme. Fanny is also an InCalf advisor and is accredited in body condition scoring. In 2013 she undertook training to become an Intelact Consultant and she is now enjoying the challenge of working on whole farm systems with her clients’ business goals in mind. In her spare time Fanny enjoys mountain biking in the Redwoods, or bushwalking in any of our region’s beautiful parks and forests.
