Andrew hails from Wanaka, accustomed to cold winters and the uncertainties of supporting the Highlanders. He grew up on a sheep and deer farm which developed his passion for animals and the outdoors. Following vet school he started practice in Taumarunui followed by a stint locuming in the UK. After returning to New Zealand with wife to be, Sarah, he managed the family farm for several years until moving North. Andrew joined VETPlus in 2009 and is a senior production animal vet based out of Taupo, where he lives on a 10 acre block with Sarah and their 2 daughters, and the associated lifestyle block animals.
