As the Facial Eczema spore counts approach Moderate levels (<20,000) preventative action needs to be taken.
Be aware that spore counts can vary considerably within the same district and more accurate information is gained by spore counting on your own property.
Appropriate dosing of Zinc products or spraying of pasture with a fungicide i.e.
Mycotak is the recommended option for preventing liver damage by the toxin produced by FE spores.
